Nov 12 11.24 After this, Jesus and his disciples went as usual into Mount Olives valley across the Kidron brook. At Gethsemane, Jesus said to his disciples, “Sit here while I go over to pray.”1 Taking along Peter and Zebedees sons, he became much troubled, saying, “My soul is fatally  grieved.2 Keep watch with me here.” Going further, he prostrated himself and prayed, “My Father, all things are possible for you, if you will, let this cup pass from me, but your will be done, not mine.” As he agonized in prayer, an angel appeared and strengthened him, and his sweat, like drops of blood, fell on the ground.
