Jan 2 Although he created the world, it didnt recognize nor receive him when he came to his own. But to them who received him, who believed in his name, he gave authority to become Gods children - reborn not through physical birth, nor parental desire, but of God.1

So the Word, full of grace and truth, became flesh and lived among us. We saw his glory as of the Fathers only Son. John testified about him saying, “This is he of whom I said, He who follows me ranks above me because he existed before me.” We all have received countless blessings from his superabundance of grace. For while Moses gave condemning law, justifying grace and truth2 came through Jesus Christ.3 No one has ever seen God, but Gods Son who is in the Fathers heart has revealed Him.”
