Aug 12 9.11 Jesus told his disciples, “Temptations to sin will always come, but woe to the one1 who brings them. He would be better off thrown into the sea with a millstone tied to his neck, than to tempt one of these little ones. Heed this warning!”

“If your brother sins,2 rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times a day and each time says, I repent, forgive him.”

The apostles said, “Increase our faith,3 Lord!” He replied, “If you had faith as small as a mustard seed, you could command this sycamore tree to be uprooted and planted into the sea and it would obey!”

9.12 “When your servant comes in from doing farm duty, do you serve him? Doesnt he first prepare and serve your meal before he eats. Are you as the master thankful to him for obeying your orders? No! Similarly, after obeying my commands, say, We are unprofitable servants, we have only done our duty.
