Apr 20 6.37 When Jesus had again crossed the sea, a great crowd gathered around him. Jairus, a synagogue chief, approached him and prostrated, pleading, “My only daughter is dying. Come and lay your hands on her that she may live.” Jesus went with him, followed by the great pressing crowd. A woman there had bled profusely for twelve years, spending all she had on doctors without improvement, only worsening. When she heard about Jesus, she worked her way through the crowd behind him, thinking, “If I can touch his garment, I will be healed.” She did, and immediately the bleeding stopped and she knew she was healed.

Apr 21 Jesus knew instantly that power had gone from him. He turned and asked, “Who touched my garment?” His disciples replied, “With this pressing crowd, you ask, Who touched me?

Jesus looked around to see. Trembling with fear, the woman knelt before him and told him her whole story. He said, “Daughter, your faith1 has saved you. Go in peace and be completely healed.”
