6.23 Taught the Parable of the Sower

He taught them much in parables, saying, “A sower went out and as he sowed, some seeds fell by the road side and birds devoured them. Other seeds fell on the rock, where shallow soil caused early growth, but they quickly dried up when the sun came. Other seeds fell among thorns, which choked them. Others fell on good soil and yielded crop, thirty, sixty and hundred times that planted. Let anyone with ears, hear me!”
