Dec 21 16.8 That evening, as the disciples discussed these things behind closed doors fearing the religious populace, Jesus stood in their midst and said, “Peace to you.” They were afraid, thinking it was a ghost. Jesus said, “Why are you so troubled and doubtful?1 See and feel my hands. It is I myself, a spirit has no flesh and bones as you see I do.” After saying so, he showed them his hands and feet.

Their joy and wonder still mixed with unbelief, he asked, “Do you have anything to eat?” They gave him some broiled fish which he ate in their presence. The disciples were glad to see the Lord.

Dec 22 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me. I send you.” He inhaled and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit, those whose sins you forgive are forgiven, those whose sins you do not forgive are not forgiven.2 The disciple Thomas, also called Twins,3 wasnt with them when Jesus came. When the others said they had seen the Lord, he said, “Unless I see and feel the nail imprints and put my hand into his side, I wont believe.”
