Sep 21 10.12 Jesus spoke again in parables, saying, “The heavenly kingdom is like a king who prepared a wedding feast1 for his son. He sent servants to call  those invited, but they refused to come. Other servants he sent out, saying, Tell those invited, Everything is ready. Come to the feast. But they went about their own thing, ignored, insulted and killed his servants. The enraged king sent his armies to destroy the murderers and burn their city. Then he said to his servants, “The feast is ready, but those invited were unworthy. Go into the street junctions and invite anyone you find.”

They gathered all they could find, both good and bad, to fill the wedding hall with guests. The king came to see the guests and noticed a man not dressed in wedding garment. He asked, How did you enter without a wedding garment? The man was speechless. The king told his servants, Tie him and throw him into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth. For many are called but few are chosen.”
